Saint Paul is a coming of age story about Mason, a seventeen-year-old boy living in a poor community in the suburbs outside of Los Angeles. With rising violence and unemployment, he stands at the periphery of an incredibly unpredictable life. Bullied at school, and abused at home, Mason finds belonging with Charlie and Denise, disenfranchised youth and alt-right white supremacists who bring Mason on a mission to commit a hate crime against a convenience store clerk.

Mason is thus set on a path towards committing an act of reality shattering violence. Will Mason successfully find belonging with the group, and satisfaction in hatred? Saint Paul is a film which seeks to show the emotional logic of a would be white supremacist, in a fair and nu-anced way, and foster a spirit of communication in a divided America.
