ZANDER COOLEY, is an 8-year-old boy who is seriously the cutest kid you’ll ever meet. He’s the “good kid” that never gets in trouble at home or at school. We find out that Zander has an innocent crush on his third-grade teacher, MR. WILEY. Desperate to get Mr. Wiley’s attention and spend some alone time with him, Zander starts to rebel and act like a “bad kid” in class. But, his attempts are constantly foiled. Worried Zander is going to lose Mr. Wiley to another woman, Zander steals his father’s watch and finally gets his moment alone to profess his love to Mr. Wiley and gives the watch to him as a gift. Alarmed about the act of theft, Mr. Wiley lets Zander down and informs his parents, destroying all of the young boy’s hopes and dreams.
